Born in Liverpool, moved to Manchester as part of the opening team of the first ever five-star hotel in the UK outside of London. He continued his career in Malta and then Paris, working with the young Joel Robuchon who held the record of 32 Michelin Guide stars across his restaurants. Chef Mike Lee then took up his first position as Executive Chef in Iran where he stayed until the revolution.
He worked as Executive Chef in Malta and Qatar before moving to Dubai where he became Corporate Chef of the Jebel Ali Group of Hotels.
Chef Mike Lee is honorary member of Master Chefs of France & Belgium.
