Anil Grover studied Economics at the University of Delhi, graduated in Hotel Management and post-graduated in Bakery and Confectionery from one of the best Hotel Management schools of India, Pusa. After working as Chef in ITC Maurya, one of the top-ranking 5-star hotel chains of India, he turned young entrepreneur by running his family business of semi-conductors. Despite being fully invested in his electronics business, Anil Grover remained passionately linked with the F&B industry and launched Groovy Foods doing international trade in industrial chocolates and cocoa powder.
He is also associated as Executive Member with PIHMAA (Pusa Institute of Hotel Management Alumni Association) and is one of the founder members of Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance, India.
Grover qualified in B-level Judging by WACS and participated as Jury Member at many international culinary events/festivals. Some of the countries he participated in as jury member are Albania, Croatia, India, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine and Vietnam, to name some. He was also among many leading chefs invited to participate two consecutive years in ‘Taste the World’ International Food Festival at Hoi An, Vietnam. He has also headed the Indian Team Selection Committee for Bocuse d'Or Asia Competition in 2017. He also holds honorary memberships of culinary associations overseas.
Within a gradually evolving Indian culture of culinary competitions too, Anil Grover has made his presence felt as judge and expert such that in 2017 he was awarded as The Best International Culinary Judge from India by IFCA.
He has been part of the Core Committee of the first ever World Heritage Culinary Summit and Food Festival 2018 held at Quila Gobindgarh, Amritsar, India under the aegis of World Heritage and Culinary Committee of WorldChefs Organisation. The Summit was participated in by chef delegates from more than 40 countries around the globe and 20 plus pan-Indian regions showcasing their heritage cuisines.

Despite being fully invested in his electronics business, Anil Grover remained passionately linked with the F&B industry and Chefs Community. He launched ‘Groovy Foods’ doing international trade with one of the largest European manufacturers of industrial chocolates and cocoa powder.
Anil Grover cleared the Judging Seminar by WACS. He also participated as one of India’s representatives at International Congress of Culinary Traditions, Bucharest, Romania in 2014. He has been one of the jury at many national and international events of Culinary Contests viz.AHAAR (An International Food and Hospitality Fair) in India, TUCC at Bangkok, South India Culinary Contest at Chennai, India, Culinary Art Competition at Colombo, Sri Lanka, Urla Culinary Cup at Turkey & Best Cook Fest at Kiev, Ukraine to name few events.
